The venue for all workshops* will be my 18' yurt, warmed by a wood burning stove and set on the cusp of both the Forest of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The site is in the lee of a seven ringed living willow labyrinth to which we have open access. The River Kenning flows some 25 yards away and provides pools for bathing. The whole is situated in a bowl of ever changing sky, watched over by the Three Peaks.
It is possible to stop and unload within feet of the yurt and parking is available on common land across the road. Clapham Station,on the Leeds - Morecambe line, is 100 yards away, making the venue easily accessible by public transport.
A feature of each weekend will be the creation of our own sacred working space. For those interested there will be the chance to help 'build' the yurt before hand and dismantle it at the end, for everybody there will be the opportunity to decorate and embellish the inside, making the working environment of each group a unique and evolving art work.
* except for some craft based workshops.
